The 14th annual Connecticut Early Music Society Festival’s June 2016 schedule of concerts is listed below. The New London-based Connecticut Early Music Society presents an annual festival each June of early music, with a repertory of European music written before about 1800 performed using period instruments.
Attorney Robert P. Anderson of Waller Smith & Palmer is a strong supporter of the Connecticut Early Music Society and serves on the Society’s Board of Trustees.
The exhibition, on loan from NEH on the Road and Mid-America Arts Alliance, examines the role that visual culture played in shaping and transforming the struggle for racial equality in America from the 1940s to the mid-1970s. For All the World to See is an exploration of the vast number of potent images that influenced how Americans perceived race and the struggle for equality.
Waller Smith & Palmer is pleased to announce that Attorney Rachael Gaudio has joined the firm. Attorney Gaudio was recently admitted to the Bar for the state Connecticut and is also licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Attorney Gaudio received her BS from the University of Rhode Island and her J.D. and Masters in Environmental Law and Policy from Vermont Law School.
Following graduating from law school, Attorney Gaudio served as a legal fellow at the Connecticut Fund for the Environment in New Haven, Connecticut. Attorney Gaudio will focus her practice on environmental law issues, including land conservation, as well as in the firm’s litigation, real estate, and municipal law practice groups.
Attorney Gaudio returns to reside in her hometown of Old Lyme where she has served as the steward of the Griswold Marsh Preserve since she was young. She is also a Committee Member of the Old Lyme Conservation Commission.
