Waller Smith & Palmer welcomes Hannalore Merritt

Waller Smith & Palmer is pleased to announce that Attorney Hannalore Merritt joined the firm on September 4, 2012.  Attorney Merritt’s practice areas include:  litigation and municipal law. Before joining Waller Smith & Palmer, Attorney Merritt served a one year term as a judicial law clerk for the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Court.  Attorney Merritt also worked as a Judicial Law Clerk for the State of Connecticut New London Superior Court from 2009 to 2011.

Attorney Merritt received her B.A. from the Pennsylvania State University and her J.D., magna cum laude, from Seattle University School of Law.  From 2004 to 2005, she was a Fulbright Fellow in political science and law in Munich, Germany.

Attorney Merritt resides in Ledyard with her husband, who is a naval officer stationed at the Naval Submarine Base New London, and their son.  She is a member of the Military Spouse JD Network.
